Completing a job from the Jobs page can be a hassle if you use lot tracking — lots of clicks and searching to find where you need to add the missing lot data. We’ve made this easier by taking advantage of the default lot names that are already used in Job Tracking. Now when you complete a job from the Jobs page, the system will automatically prefill any missing lots based on that template. You can of course still change those as needed.
Our current setup for tracking labor costs doesn’t offer much flexibility for capturing when those costs need to change such as to capture overtime. In a step toward that flexibility, we’ve added the ability to override the hourly labor rate for labor and setup timers. This can be done in Time Management when either creating new timers or editing existing ones.
Only users with the Override Hourly Rates permission will be able to see and edit hourly rates in Time Management.
We already had separate permissions for editing & converting quotes, however previously anyone with the Edit Quotes permission was automatically granted the Convert Quotes permission. Based on feedback we’ve gotten from you, we have untied these permissions so that they are independent from each other.
To give you more options for configuring labels, we’ve added the ability to include custom field data on Job Labels. These can be configured by going the Label settings in Business Setup.
The custom fields need to be first defined in the Custom Field setup and must be listed under the Job module. The list of the available fields also appears in the label setup. When used in Job Tracking, fields from the Job Operation module can also be used.
In response to feedback about the new Job Tracking interface, we’ve made two changes to reduce friction when completing operations:
Editing the Quantity Completed is now more straightforward — when you tap on that quantity you’ll now be able to simply update the total directly.
We’ve also made it easier to add to inventory. Before, you could only inventory up to the quantity that was marked complete. Now, if a user adds more to inventory than they previously marked complete, we’ll simply update the completed quantity to match.

This will help prevent misclicks from accidentally deleting or updating data.
The equipment editor has a new look and feel and will require fewer clicks to make changes.

This search bar is accessible throughout the main application and can search across modules.During this initial launch phase you’ll be able to search for Quotes, Sales Orders, Customers, Items, Jobs, and Work Orders. We’ll be adding more modules as we build out this feature.
This feature has not yet been implemented for SQL, so long as your fulcrum site hasn’t been converted to SQL you are eligible to join this beta
