Ryerson and Fulcrum, Connected: Live Pricing and Direct Ordering in Your PO
The Partnership Story
We started this partnership with Ryerson because we're solving the same problem from different angles: getting the right information to the right place, without the guesswork.
Ryerson has spent over a decade building online purchasing toward exactly that goal. Buying metal online should be built into how you already work, and running your shop shouldn't mean guessing at what your material costs or when it will arrive. Meanwhile, Fulcrum has spent that same decade building the shop floor side of the equation: real-time job tracking, live costing, and scheduling that runs off what's actually happening on the floor, not a spreadsheet from last week.
This integration has been a long time in the making and, at every step, we've been invested in getting the details right. The integration launching today is the result of that work.
Fulcrum and Ryerson are putting material buying and shop operations in one place. This partnership closes the gap between what you order and what happens on your floor.
Live Pricing and Direct Ordering, Now in Fulcrum
We're rolling out a native Ryerson integration that brings two capabilities directly into your Fulcrum site.
First, daily sync of material costs from Ryerson, including price breaks and delivery lead times. You're always quoting and planning against current numbers, not last week's.
Second, send orders to Ryerson right from the PO you're already working in. After you order, delivery times and status sync back to your PO and flow into your planning automatically, with no manual follow-up required.
No changing between systems. No manually typing pricing onto a quote. No downloading and re-uploading purchasing order PDFs. No chasing down current costs, lead times, or order status. It all lives in the same place you already quote, plan, and purchase.
One Network, Not Two Systems
For years, Fulcrum has been building toward one idea: your shop, your suppliers, and your data should live in the same place, not three separate ones. Most shops still run their own systems and their supplier's portal separately, moving information between them by hand. Every manual step is a chance to quote against stale pricing, mis-key an order, or lose track of a delivery date.
This integration closes that gap for one of the most common supplier relationships in the industry, and it's the first of more to come. It also means our new AI agent, Archie, has real data to act on.
Current Ryerson pricing and live order status now sit in the same place as your jobs and your schedule, which is exactly the kind of shop floor data Archie needs to flag a cost change, catch a delivery risk, or answer a question about material status before you have to ask.
