Why we built Control
In most shops, quality management software still lives outside of the production system. Instead, teams rely on spreadsheets, PDFs, and disconnected tools that don’t reflect what’s actually happening on the shop floor. The result? Teams make decisions based on incomplete information, and quality becomes a bottleneck instead of a lever for growth.

Control was developed in close collaboration with CNC and sheet metal fabrication shops, especially those operating in aerospace and defense where compliance is non-negotiable and mistakes are costly.

Quality teams can choose how Control autobubbles drawings, machinists and inspectors can click-and-zoom to critical control frames when entering measurements, and project managers can generate customer-ready reports with a click, significantly reducing manual entry. Every second saved, mistake not made, and communication improved contributes to happier customers and higher throughput.

Control is tightly integrated with Fulcrum’s broader platform, strengthening features like Autoschedule by giving the system a deeper understanding of real-world constraints, capacity, and quality requirements. A clean, intentional interface clearly shows which bubbles require which measurements, and when, reducing operator error and preventing small mistakes from becoming expensive rework.
