The updated BigCommerce integration now includes a feature that lets you select a specific status to initiate synchronization with Fulcrum. This functionality is especially beneficial for those who do not receive payment instantly upon order placement.
Users will now be able to specify date ranges for the Job Cost download on the Jobs Grid and the Cost of Goods Sold download in Accounting Reports.
The third of three new shipping downloads, the Backlog is a download of all sales order items that have yet to ship. The download includes a shipping backlog tab with one row per open line item and all the details as well as summary tabs by day, week, month, and customer that give the quantity and net value still to ship.
Previously, it took several clicks to open the routing and add or adjust required items. It was clunky and easy to make mistakes.
We’ve added a new feature that lets you associate items to operations, right inside the BOM & Routing editor. This lets you:
We’ve also made updates to establish closer connections between items and operations.
Previously, you could end up in a situation where the BOM and required items for the operation did not match. If you delete an item from the BOM, the item will delete from the required items within the routing as well (and vice versa).
(C) We’ve added an indicator for the operation an item is associated with to make this connection clear and help avoid this mistake.
The new On Time Ship download includes a raw data tab and additional summary tabs by day, week, month, and customer. It includes all part line items due to ship January 1, 2022 or later. The on-time percentage metric is based on the value of the items to ship. The Historical Data Shipping download includes a raw data tab of historical shipping info, with one row per line item on a shipment, including Customer Item Number, Order Date, and Delivery Due Date.

Now you can drag and drop columns on the Jobs Grid, making it easy to put what’s important to you right where you need it.
With this update, attachments are presented by type, starting with the most specific and relevant attachments to the operation open (attachments tied to operation and subassembly) at the top. Users will now also have the option to toggle between a list view and a tile view for an at-a-glance or more detailed view.
You can now search operations and materials on the Job Details page! This update is especially helpful if you have large BOM & routings. Operation search will filter on:
Additional usability improvements to this page:
Error messages that are related to Sales Order/Purchase Order receiving records will now be visible on:
Previously, in some cases, there were errors that showed on the integration configuration page but not on the associated record. This update should help call-out integration notifications/warnings related to receiving(s) without having to go to the Sync Warnings on the integration configuration page.
Software should enable you to do more, not get in the way. We’re on a quest to find more ways to make using Fulcrum natural, starting with small but mighty changes like this one: We’ve removed a modal that popped up when creating a Sales Order or Quote and replaced it with a slide panel that lets you interact with the rest of the page, similar to other areas of Fulcrum, like Purchasing Planning. Keep out for more small but mighty experience updates like this in the coming weeks.
Now, you can generate custom receiving labels, just like for Item and Job Labels. Add multiple receiving labels for added flexibility when printing.
Business Setup > System Data > Labels
The following fields have been added as options on the custom item labels:
- Tags
- Material shape, dimension, etc info as entered on the Item’s page
- Accounting codes - Lot quantity on hand
If you would like to opt-in for Custom Item Labels, reply to this post. It will go live to everyone at midnight on September 18.
You can now import Purchase Orders into Fulcrum!
The first iteration of our updated Item labels will go out with limited fields (pictured below). It will be turned on for new customers during implementation and any customers who opt in. Reach out to your Customer Support Manager if you'd like this turned on for your site.
