Why does Fulcrum's cost go up when my business makes more money?

Fulcrum is a growth tool. Unlike ERPs and other record-keeping systems, Fulcrum is designed to help you do more with the same machines and people you already have — not just keep track of records. Automating tasks, eliminating the need for duplicate data entry, and adding AI-driven insights not only save you valuable time but show you new ways to expand and grow. That's why we've aligned our pricing to incentivize us to make you more money. We will continue to develop new functionality that helps your business grow, with updates every week at no additional cost.

Why revenue based pricing and not seat based?

We don’t charge by seat because that would incentivize us to get you to increase headcount — something traditional ERPs and record-keeping systems want you to do. Seat-based pricing either forces you to buy more seats than you really need or tempts you to share logins and leave out operators altogether, creating holes in all of your data.

With Fulcrum, everyone has a seat, and we never charge you for additional users. This keeps your entire team working with live data and role-specific experiences, without worrying about seat licenses. We only charge you more after we've helped you make more money — because Fulcrum is designed to help you grow revenue using the same machines and people. Seat-based pricing wouldn't make sense for a platform that's built to help you do more with what you already have.

I do entirely custom work. Does this fit me?

Fulcrum is designed for custom manufacturers. Our system makes it easy for you to build out new jobs or start from an old job and make edits for a new order's requirements. If you make the same product over and over again, we can help, but we add the most value for custom shops.

Are these all of the integrations available?

We continue to build out meaningful integrations all the time. If you don't see an integration you'd like above, reach out to Sales to scope out if a new integration would be beneficial. Additionally, Fulcrum has an open API users can create their own connections through.

What is switching to Fulcrum like?

Our Launch Team is 100% in-house. Launch has a one time, fixed fee. No billable hours, no hidden costs. Our success hinges on yours, so we’re dedicated to making the changeover successful from start to end. Your assigned Launch Manager will help you import data, hook up integrations, provide training, and get your shop live on Fulcrum in as little as 12 weeks (sometimes even faster).

Do I have to pay for support?

Absolutely not, there is no cost to support. You’ll have a dedicated Account Manager making sure your business is on the right track and taking advantage of what’s new in Fulcrum. If there’s an issue, our Support team made up of engineers and product experts is ready to help with an average response time of less than 2 hours.  

How does this work if I have multiple locations?

Lets talk. Many Fulcrum customers have multiple locations but each have differing needs. There are multiple factors that come into play with multiple locations. Are all locations on the same system now? Do they pull from the same inventory? Or, do they operate completely independently? In order for us to determine which version of Fulcrum is best for you, we'll need to understand your business better first. Schedule time to talk to Sales.

What happens if I want to upgrade before my contract renewal?

You can upgrade at any time. If there's a feature you need to have prior to renewal, your Account Manager will help determine which version of Fulcrum is best for your business, get you on to the new system, and make sure you and your team have the training necessary to be successful.
