Product Walkthrough Video: Control, Fulcrum's Modern Quality Management

We’ve released a new walkthrough video highlighting Control, our quality management product built to streamline inspection planning, execution, and reporting inside Fulcrum.

Control is designed to improve production outcomes while strengthening compliance. Rather than treating quality as a separate system or after-the-fact documentation exercise, Control connects inspection data directly to jobs, operators, tools, and reporting in one continuous workflow.

_{AI-Assisted Inspection Planning}

Quality managers can create structured inspection plans directly from drawings using an intuitive bubbling interface. The system captures dimensions, tolerances, feature control frames, and notes while minimizing manual data entry. Inspection checkpoints can be flagged as critical, tied to first article requirements, assigned sampling plans, and associated with downstream operations to drive execution automatically.

Control now includes an auto-bubbling capability that scans drawings and identifies inspection points automatically. Ongoing enhancements will increase accuracy and introduce adaptive intelligence based on user behavior.

_{Real-Time Shop Floor Execution}

Inspection plans translate directly to the shop floor. Operators and quality team members can:

• View required notes and checkpoints
• Enter measurement data with instant in-tolerance / out-of-tolerance feedback
• Zoom directly to drawing locations
• Capture traceability details including operator and tool used
  

Inspection data updates the job record in real time, providing visibility without manual consolidation.

_{Integrated Reporting}

Inspection data can be used to generate formal documentation, including AS9102 First Article Inspection reports. Forms populate automatically using collected measurements.
Documentation such as first article reports, certificates of compliance, and material certifications can be consolidated into a single delivery packet for customers.

_{Tool Calibration Management}

Control includes a built-in tool database that tracks measurement devices, calibration frequency, and calibration history. Automated alerts notify teams when tools are due for recalibration, and tools remain traceable back to specific jobs.

Control connects quality directly to production. Inspection planning, execution, traceability, and reporting now operate inside the same system as quoting, job tracking, and scheduling.
This release represents the foundation of our broader quality roadmap. Additional reporting templates, expanded automation, and deeper intelligence enhancements are in development.
