Your drawing can be in inches while your floor records in millimeters, or the other way around. Fulcrum now keeps the two in step everywhere, instead of leaving operators to convert in their heads.
- Every checkpoint carries a Drawing unit and a Recording unit, set from the routing's quality tolerances.
- The drawing annotator gains a Units section, with a preview of the converted value on each bubble and a confirmation before applying a change to the rest of them.
- The job's Quality tab gets a Recording / Drawing toggle that flips requirements and recorded results together, so you're always comparing like with like. It's just a lens — nothing is changed, and a measurement passes or fails identically in either view.
- Job Tracking shows the recording unit on each checkpoint as the operator types.
- CMM (coordinate measuring machine) imports declare their unit and convert before matching, so a file in the "wrong" unit no longer silently fails to line up.
- The FAIR (First Article Inspection Report), Inspection, and in-process tracking downloads all report in drawing units, with the unit spelled out on every measurement, and Quality tab exports follow whichever unit system you've selected.
- Pass/fail is judged by one consistent rule, including exact-value (±0.00) tolerances on a converted checkpoint.
