An in process tracking measurement might only be necessary on one part, but you may be required to take multiple measurements to confirm the value is within tolerance.
First Article measurements now always trigger on part 1 and continue at the defined sampling frequency, ensuring required inspections occur on the first part and at every specified interval thereafter.
Prior to this release:
First Article = true, and Frequency = 1
An input will appear on part 1 only.
First Article = true, and Frequency = 10
An input will appear on part 10 only.
After this release:
First Article = true, and Frequency = 0:
An input will appear on part 1 only.
First Article = true, and Frequency = 10
An input will appear on part 1, as well as every 10 parts.
Similarly, prior to this change, any GD&T marked as needing First Article Inspection would only prompt for measurement on the first part. Going forward, First Article Inspection will continue to prompt for measurement on first part made, but if Sampling is set to 1 or greater, it will additionally prompt for measurement at that sampling rate.
